Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Faceora (faceora.net), a reverse face-search service operated by Aquacat Agency ("Faceora," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Faceora lets you upload a photo to search publicly indexed web pages for visually similar faces. Results are confidence-scored indicators, not proof of identity — always verify independently before acting on a result.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Faceora.

3. Accounts

You need an account (email/password or Google sign-in) to purchase credits and run searches. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Faceora to:

  • Stalk, harass, or harm another person.
  • Violate any applicable law.
  • Attempt to identify minors.
  • Circumvent rate limits or security controls.
  • Resell or redistribute search results as a standalone data product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Credits and Billing

Faceora has no free tier. Searches are paid for via one-time credit packs or recurring subscriptions, billed in USD through Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax, and invoicing on our behalf; by purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own Refund Policy explains when a purchase is eligible for a refund.

6. No Warranty on Results

Search results are provided "as is." Faceora does not guarantee that results are complete, accurate, or current, and is not liable for decisions made based on search results.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faceora's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aquacat Agency is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
