This Privacy Policy explains how Faceora (faceora.net, operated by Aquacat Agency) handles your data.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: email address, and if you sign up with Google, your name and profile info from Google.
- Billing data: handled entirely by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) — we do not store your card details.
- Search photos: the photo you upload to run a search.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser type) for security and abuse prevention.
2. How We Use Your Search Photo
Your uploaded photo is used only to run the search you requested. It is permanently deleted from our servers the moment the search finishes. A copy is kept only in your own browser's local storage (on your device) so you can view your past search again — that copy never reaches our servers.
3. What We Search
Faceora searches only publicly accessible, already-indexed web pages. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or anything not already visible on the open web.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Faceora: Paddle (billing), our hosting/infrastructure providers, and our face-search infrastructure provider. We do not sell your data.
5. Data Retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Search photos are not retained server-side at all (see §2). You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting mail@faceora.net.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact mail@faceora.net to exercise these rights.
7. Children
Faceora is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
